Newborn| Jayce | Burlington NC Newborn and Baby Photographer

Sweet little boy!!! Oh he was just a dumplin, puddin pop! He slept and posed and I could have played all day with him, which I almost did! I am so excited for my lovely friend and her family with this new arrival. I don't get to see her as much anymore since leaving my full time job to care for my 6 babies, but I love keeping up with her like this!

We captured a special day for this family. On this very day little J met his sister J for the first time. She had previously been sick and not allowed to meet him yet. It was an amazing day for sure!

Gender Reveal | A New Brother | Burlington NC Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Gender reveals, you see them all over the place. They are fun, informative, and fun!!! The biggest question you get asked around 18-24 weeks is what? Of course, do you know what your having!? It seems everyone wants to know what dice you have rolled in the 50/50 game of what sex is your baby!

When my sister asked me to do her gender reveal, I told her of course YES! But also I wanted to use her family to display some cute ideas for you all to use! So, if your pregnant and want a gender reveal I hope these options help and if not bring your own to the table, I love new ideas!

Maternity | R Family | Burlington Maternity Photographer

I love this family! I am honored to be the chosen photographer for their 2nd pregnancy and baby's newborn photos!

We met off a little dirt road in Burlington and captured some adorable family times getting ready to meet their newest addition.

I simply cannot wait for the next few weeks to fly by!

Newborn | Tobias | Burlington NC Newborn Photographer

I recently started a project and am so excited to see it take shape and come into fruition. I don't know about you but I love seeing my art in print! I want to produce a Newborn365 Art Book this year. It will be a coffee table book that I will offer for clients to purchase but also for prospective clients to view in my studio and at local marketing events.

This little one's Mommy answered the call for a newborn a day and brought this handsome 5 pound, 13 day old cutie to the studio. He is such a snugly bug! And very handsome and a very good poser!

Newborn | Christopher | Burlington NC Newborn Photographer

This family is just so precious to me, long time clients and very faithful clients through hard times and great times my business has been through over the years. With two precious girls and the recent addition of an older half sister, their family seemed to be complete. But they soon realized God had bigger plans in their future.

Little Christopher, A BOY in a sea of girls, has an amazing family and I am certain an amazing life ahead of him!

The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9

Safety | Before & After | Burlington NC Newborn Photographer

Are you being safe even with your simplest poses? Are you taking risks with those tiny new clients in your studio? DON'T Even if you do not have an assistant available to you, I have found there are always hands ready and waiting to help!

I am going to show you a very easy pose. A classic one I do with each session. This particular one was a little more challenging and you will see why in a second. BUT with extra hands, patience, and composition shots I have an awesome portrait for this family to cherish always!

Please, study and perfect your craft before taking any chances with any client but especially Newborns!

In the first two photos, you will see where my spotters hands were, in order for this shot to be safe and successful.

In this third shot you will see I have taken out the spotters and made my image ready for my style processing. Up until this point your images should and can look similar to this. It is up to you after this point as to what you want your image to look like before giving the art to the family!

And here is my final image. This is the image the family will see, order, and hang in their home for years to come!
